Potenza Seoul

Potenza RF microneedling in Seoul, explained from the evidence

Can Potenza be combined with Ultherapy, Thermage or Rejuran?

Yes, as long as the plan accounts for the total heat in each layer. Potenza heats the dermis through needles, Thermage heats it through the surface, and focused ultrasound such as Ultherapy also coagulates tissue within the first few millimetres, so the treatment zones can overlap. The pairing with the most evidence is focused ultrasound plus RF microneedling on the same day, tested in a randomised split-face study.[1] Rejuran injected right after RF microneedling sped recovery in one small trial. Beyond that, spacing is a clinical judgement rather than a rule set by trials.

Why combine Potenza with a lifting treatment?

The devices deliver energy differently, but their treatment zones can overlap. Potenza’s needles reach 0.5 to 4.0 mm. Ultherapy’s FDA summary describes “controlled tissue coagulation below the skin surface (epidermis) within the first few millimeters of tissue (dermis)”, and the device is cleared to lift the eyebrow and lax tissue under the chin and on the neck, and to improve lines on the décolleté (510(k) summary K260618, checked 18 October 2026). Thermage FLX is cleared for non-invasive treatment of wrinkles and rhytids (510(k) K170758, checked 18 October 2026). A combined plan aims to treat texture and laxity together while keeping track of the heat each layer receives.

Potenza and Ultherapy on the same day: what does the evidence show?

In a 2025 randomised split-face study, 26 people with facial laxity had full-face microfocused ultrasound, and one randomly chosen side also had RF microneedling on the same day. At three months, the combined side scored better on wrinkles, texture, pores and overall improvement, and ultrasound scans showed thinner fat under the cheek and over the masseter. Redness, small bruises and swelling settled without treatment.[1]

The study tested one combined system with three months of follow-up, so it supports same-day pairing in principle rather than any brand protocol. The order of the two treatments and the energy used for each are your doctor’s call.

Potenza and Thermage: same day or spaced apart?

A PubMed search on 18 October 2026 found no trial testing Thermage and RF microneedling together. Both put RF heat into the dermis, so the question is the total heat load. Whether to combine them in one visit with adjusted settings or separate them by a few weeks is a judgement your doctor makes. Ask how depth and energy are managed if both are done on the same day.

On Delight Dermatology Clinic’s price list, Thermage FLX is ₩1,000,000–₩2,600,000 and Ultherapy Prime ₩300,000–₩2,700,000 per session, with the shot count driving the range. Prices checked 2026-10-18; confirm at consultation.

Potenza and Rejuran: does the timing matter?

In a 2026 split-face trial of 25 women, polynucleotide (Rejuran) was injected right after fractional needle RF on one side of the face, and saline on the other. After six weeks, the Rejuran side had better pore and wrinkle scores, lower water loss, higher skin hydration and faster fading of redness. Dermal thickness and elasticity did not differ between sides.[2]

That trial used a different RF microneedling device (Sylfirm X), lasted six weeks and had a single author, so treat it as early evidence. Ask whether Rejuran will be injected separately or spread over the treated skin, since the trial result is for injection. On Delight Dermatology Clinic’s price list, Rejuran Healer 2cc is ₩300,000–₩500,000 per session (prices checked 2026-10-18; confirm at consultation).

What about RF microneedling with exosomes?

Exosome serums are sometimes offered with RF microneedling. Delight Dermatology Clinic does not offer exosome treatment.

In a split-face trial, topical exosomes on one side and PRP on the other, each applied after three RF microneedling sessions, gave similar improvements in wrinkles, discolouration, redness and texture. There was no RF-only side, so the trial cannot show how much the exosomes added.[3] The FDA states that microneedling devices are not approved for delivering drugs or blood products such as PRP into the skin, and that the risks of combining microneedling devices with other products are not known (FDA microneedling devices page, checked 18 October 2026).

How do you plan a combination on one trip?

  • Agree the full plan, order and total price at the consultation, before the first treatment.
  • Leave a few days in Seoul after the last needle treatment, so the clinic can check your skin before you fly.
  • Ask which parts of the plan can be repeated at home if you cannot return for later sessions.

Should Potenza be done before or after Ultherapy on the same day?

The same-day trial treated both in one visit, but its summary does not settle the order. Your doctor decides based on the areas and settings.

Does combining treatments increase side effects?

In the same-day trial, side effects were mild and resolved without treatment. More treatment in one visit still means more heat in the tissue, so ask how settings are adjusted.[1]

Can I have Rejuran and Potenza in the same visit?

Yes, this has been studied with a similar device: Rejuran injected right after RF microneedling improved hydration and redness recovery at six weeks.[2]
